Following on from the thread about slow journey times in Leeds, another quirk of this month's new timetables is several instances where buses are scheduled to "overtake" each other, with the later departing bus arriving at the terminus before the previous one! These are the examples I've spotted:
72 18:19 ex Bradford arrives Leeds 19:29 18:31 ex Bradford arrives Leeds 19:22 (departs Bradford 12 mins after the previous journey but somehow gets to Leeds 7 mins in front of it!)
33A 18:10 ex Otley arrives Leeds 19:43 18:30 ex Otley arrives Leeds 19:41 (departs Otley 20 mins after the previous journey but arrives at Leeds 2 mins ahead)
49 14:32 ex Bramley arrives Monkswood at 16:00 14:42 ex Bramley arrives Monkswood at 15:58 (departs Bramley 10 mins after the previous journey and arrives Monkswood 2 mins ahead)
16 16:59 ex Whinmoor arr Pudsey 18:42 17:10 ex Whinmoor arr Pudsey 18:35 (departs Whinmoor 11 mins later but manages to reach Pudsey 7 mins ahead)
Also, while not as bad as the above examples, a few services have journeys arriving at the terminus within only 1 minute of each other. In the first draft of the new 9 timetable (still visible on First's website) two journeys showed as arriving at Seacroft at 20:07 and 20:08. The 20:08 seems to have sensibly been removed before the timetable started!
