Is there a hit list to the buses that will be leaving bradford when the streetdecks arrive ? 31137 31138 31790 31791 32077 SCRAP 32450 32460 32528 32529 32533 32534 RTC 32535 32536 32537 32538 32684 32685 32697 37026 VOR 37038 37039 37040 37041 37055 37056 37057 37059 66749 66750 66751 66752 66753 66754 66755 66758 VOR 66764 VOR 66788 VOR Thanks for that, I suppose if some stay within west yorkshire that should allow the withdrawal of the last ALX 400s from Halifax and Huddersfield and 66710-66714 plus the last solo.

It says the Single deckers will arrive for Summer. So does this mean that the First 667s are staying and letting First Bradford Get fined for around six months?

I keep hearing StreetDeck this Streetdeck that but what about the Streetlites? I really hope first doesn't make the mistake of buying streetlites again, absolutely dreadful vehicles. However, wouldn't they try and opt for an eclipse 3? Since it has the same design language as a streetdeck?

GB Hawks or Eclipse 3s are cool buses however not many operators tend to purchase them.

Might consider learning to drive in that case

Streetlites will be coming, but not yet. No need for single deckers in Bradford though, no low bridges.

In the Yorkshire Rider/Bradford Traveller days Bradford didn’t have any single deckers (they did have minibuses and a handful of coaches though), it wasn’t until the FirstGroup corporate Wright Renown/Wright Axcess Ultralow’s arrived when Bradford started to routinely get single decks, and that might of partially been to offer low floor access (low floor double decks weren’t mainstream at the same time)

I think the new livery looks better in person, but the 'City of' above Bradford is unbelievably faint.

The interior looks very clinical and I think cream would have been better than white (thus representing the old Bradford Corporation colours). Will they not receive 22 registration marks instead of MD71?

The green grabrails suggest they were originally meant for Leeds (standard First spec would have pink grab rails)

The green grabrails suggest they were originally meant for Leeds (standard First spec would have pink grab rails) Leeds original order was for 284 Streetdecks, but it’s good to see Bradford get a fair share of new buses. Blue grabrails would have complimented them. Any reason why these have Manchester MD registrations. You’ve got Leeds with Scottish SL/SK 67/18/68/19, Yorkshire YE/ YJ and the odd BX Birmingham 69/70 reg. What’s the reason why they all get registered in a different region.

Since the early-mid 2010s most buses & coaches have been registered by their builders for example Volvos BA-BX for the West Midlands, Optare YA-YK for West Yorkshire & ADL SK-SN for Falkirk built buses & YW-YY for Scarborough built vehicles. For Wright with them being made in Northern Ireland where they used a different vehicle reg system for the rest of UK they would probably be registered(this is just a guess) neither by a uk mainland based dealer or maybe direct through the DVLA.

The green grabrails suggest they were originally meant for Leeds (standard First spec would have pink grab rails) The green grabrails mean they will not look much different internally from recent deliveries to Leeds. It is perhaps ironic that new buses for Bradford are starting out running on routes to Leeds. I cannot remember when route 72 returned from Bramley to Bradford. It is a pity they do not have 22 reg's given that they have entered service in March.
