I think that looks to be exactly the same as in previous years no doubt all run by Belle Isle again.
The stop on Union Street in Wakefield was a shambles last year, no timetables of any form neither paper or electronic available, some buses departed from the wrong side of the road without warning. Everyone just stood there waiting in the freezing cold with no shelter.

Everyone just stood there waiting in the freezing cold with no shelter. It is also not obvious where the 110 stops. I decided to play it safe I would get the Leeds Bound 110 from the Springs stop last year, because I knew a driver would not make the detour by turning right when the bus station was closed. Sure enough, when I got on it, it carried on straight up towards Marsh Way Roundabout straight across the Bullring not stopping at the advertised Union Street stops. I'm assuming it stopped at its old stops opposite the former Post Office/Calder and Hops pub?

What I’ve realised is that there’s no 410 or 411, Something like Junction 32 and Xscape would need to be served by some sort of bus service during Boxing Day. Could always join a 411 service onto a 163/166 that way you have a service from Leeds to Castleford and Junction 32 and Pontefract.

HTH I suppose that compensates, I was wondering what route was serving J32 and Xscape It does more than compensate - unlike 411 which would only give Pontefract and Castleford a link to J32, the 187 gives the good folk of Airedale the chance to go shoplifting (sorry, shopping) too... HTH

As well as the usual Boxing Day service on Park & Ride 3, 7 and 9, First York will this year be running a half-hourly service on the 4, 5 (not 5A) and 6 ... but bizarrely not the 1, despite that being a busier route than the 5 or 6 ... although neither of them are running full routes, the 5 is only going as far as Earswick, and the 6 is finishing in Tang Hall.

Ever since Boxing Day services started in 2007, it's always been a special fare for the day. Even when I was a child back in the 1970's, when services ran on Boxing Day only between noon-6pm, they had special fare, which people resented paying, just like nowadays.
