I've noticed recently the Belle Isle fleet are showing routes that haven't run for ages for example last night a spectra came back in to Wakefield Bus Station showing 443 Leeds University. Dewsbury and Heckmondwike also show the data for the 262 which AY gave up abour 10 yrs ago.

They stay on the computer, but, it may just be a case of someone uploading the wrong file onto the device, it happened at Heckmondwike about 6 years ago, when one of the Presidents had the desti reprogrammed and X33 was back in the system, much to the amusement of the older drivers, who used to drive it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Arriva Yorkshire run some late Evening/Sunday services on the 262 before First Huddersfield won the tender? It could just be my imagination, but I cannot remember First running it previously and I'm sure they won the tender the same time as the 231/2 Evening/Weekend tenders.

Yes, back in the days of Yorkshire Traction, AY took on 3 or 4 journeys on 262 Huddersfield to Mirfield .

Yes, back in the days of Yorkshire Traction, AY took on 3 or 4 journeys on 262 Huddersfield to Mirfield . The evening and Sunday 262 were full route were as the one First operates is only as far as upper heaton Originally, the ones AY took on, only went to Mirfield, ran empty back to Huddersfield to run to Dewsbury, while a Dewsbury Dart did Dewsbury to Huddersfield, at the time, the Mirfield one terminated. Then, the Mirfield terminated one, went round the block, to return to Huddersfield in service, before doing its last trip to Dewsbury.
