New timetables now up on wymetro site. I don't think there's any changes this May but times for our new station calls are inserted. In a change of policy, there will be a leaf fall timetable from 24 October on the Huddersfield, Selby and York lines. I'm glad they've done it like this - however when I suggested they'd have been better putting in the times in for Apperley Bridge in the last timetable they told me they couldn't as the times weren't confirmed until the stations opened. There's a few errors that have slipped through too - unless they've really withdrawn the 2319 Leeds to Keighley on a Saturday and are really running trains from Leeds to Ilkley at 2104 and 2107 on a Saturday.

The Bradford-Leeds composite timetable (which contains all KLF-Leeds trains) is correct.

Nice to see that Low Moor only gets the GC's and Leeds - Huddersfield via Bradford trains and not a single direct train to/from Man Vic. I don't think many locals will be happy about this!

No, The Metro Facebook page has confirmed that the 2319 has been withdrawn on a Saturday! *headdesk* National Rail doesn't think so though. They've told me the 2104 to Ilkley is Saturday only (which it isn't, it's SX).

As discussed earlier, there is only a franchise commitment for an hourly service at Low Moor, this means only the stopping trains to Halfax, Hebden Bridge and Huddersfield call plus GC trains to London. There is a proposal for Blackpool trains to call in the future (to provide a half-hourly service). Some years ago, Bradford-Manchester timings had provision for the proposed station stop at Lightcliffe, but more recently this has become a semi-fast service with no slack in the schedules.

So much for the all singing all dancing Northern franchise that are going to give us a better transport network than London, inauspicious start if you ask me. Maybe I'm being a little harsh and there will be calling of Manchester services in time.

You must remember that the planning for Low Moor station took place during the Northern franchise which expired in April and obviously therefore took into account their rolling stock provision and the timetabling conditions authorised by Network Rail at the time the plans went forward. Quite probably the issue will be revisited when the 'new' Northern gets its feet under the table but it is unfair to criticise it for decisions which were made before the tenders had even gone out for the franchise it has ended up winning.

The fact the station is opening with 4 trains to London from the word go is quite a big deal and outweighs the fact they don't have a Manchester service.
Plus they get an hourly evening service right up to 23:38 which is better than the service at many existing stations.

Metro have finally agreed they have mistakes in the timetables which will be corrected in the second print run. So will be seen by very few people (I never saw a single timetable offline for the Leeds-Bradford timetable with Apperley Bridge in).

Other mistakes I've noticed are the 2056 Leeds to Marsden on Sundays terminating at Slaithwaite and pages missing from the Saturday timetable for York & Selby from Leeds from 1952 to 2211.
