I thought this might've been an April Fools but it appears to be a day too early...

Seems logical as the route is partly shared with the Hotline branded service and hence is clear to punters that it is the same operator.

Mellor receives £2.4m order for fleet of Transdev buses (that's for the above services) Rochdale-based bus manufacturer Mellor has received a £2.4 million order from Transdev for an all-new fleet of 23 Strata Ultra buses. Local bus operator Transdev has chosen Mellor’s Strata Ultra bus for its new East Lancashire routes, as it offers a fully accessible vehicle which can comfortably carry 30 customers in levels of comfort which match a full-size bus – yet can also navigate rural routes and busy town streets with ease. www.rochdaleonline.co.uk/news-features/1/business-news/140471/mellor-receives-%C2%A324m-order-for-fleet-of-transdev-buses

Hi there, I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks that it's strange that Transdev have seemingly taken a step back on their proposed May service changes, especially those affecting the Witchway, given by now we were supposed to see late night service and buses every 15 minutes; but the X43 is still every 20 minutes. The page outlining these proposed changes has been removed from the website

Not strange given Burnley and Blackburn are places where people have guidance not to travel due to the Indian CV.

The thing is that the post was removed a number of weeks ago, it's not recent at all, I had a look toward the end of April for clarity on dates and had noticed it had gone The post has been removed from a number of Transdev's company pages too, including Keighley

If between now and 21st June the stop the variant then potentially X43 will have increase back to full timetable so right now it's a waiting & monitoring game.

Yesterday I rode a Red Express Eclipse on route X41. I missed out on it on Leeds - Manchester CityZap in 2018 as an orange Versa turned up. I was fortunate yesterday for 2 reasons. Firstly, 2 Diamond buses from Bury to Ramsbottom were cancelled and I only just made my connection. Secondly, it transpired that the previous X41 had been an ordinary blue Blackburn Eclipse rather than a Red Express example.
