Might make sense if the 142/143 were being cancelled with the 22 being a crazy combination of the 142 and 56. The 23 being the 143. Looks like the 1A will replace the 57 in part (why registered both as diverted and new?). Believe the 22 will be Harrogate - Ripon - York. The 1A looks to be the existing journey each hour re-routed, and the other journey each hour extended to cover the 57.

I find 80% of items in the North Yorks section ends up appearing in the West Yorks section as well. Sorry I clicked on the wrong area

That's a very odd arrangement - why would you run a bus from Harrogate to York via Ripon? I can understand that operationally it might make sense to interwork what currently run as 56 and 142/143, meaning that the vehicles do effectively run that route, but you would never publish that as a single service, that's just nuts! It makes sense to have alternate journeys on the 1A to Boroughbridge running via Staveley, it isn't any longer than the current route, and I can't believe that there's that much traffic to St James from Boroughbridge and Kirby Hill!

I wonder if the 22 Ripon-Harrogate portion will be running from Kirkby Malzeard then Knaresborough or possibly Wormald Green? I read there was a Harrogate-Kirkby Malzeard service back in United days but don't know which way it ran. For the Ripon-York service it looks like 142 = 22 (with a 'through connection' at Boroughbridge) and 143 = 23, but I could be completely wrong.

It would have been a good one for Tiger/K-Line, but they seem incapable of winning anything at the moment.

Well I hope they use something quicker and more up for hills than what they've got and I hope the driver isn't tired after doing 23 late's when turning onto the Woodhead as alleged on another topic under the Ladies Only Travel page, I'm not in any way saying what has been alleged on that page is true, what I am saying however is it better not be true! If I find I'm in an accident and the cause was tiredness then I'll super sue, bankrupt sue, destroy sue, in other words I won't hold back! For those who don't know, turning right from Holme Moss or right from Glossop is dangerous enough when alert!

Have to wonder what it means for the Harrogate-Woodlands-Hookstone- Calcutt-Knaresborough route. Having to wait for a bus from York is going to seriously hinder any am peak journey. Perhaps Calcutt attracts little custom but still think someone ought to do the obvious route via Hookstone joining onto Route 1 at Forest Lane Head. Know people in that part of Harrogate feel cut off while 12 buses a hour go via Starbeck.

Sorry to disagree with your comments but in law if you repeat, by writing or word of mouth, something that someone else has commented on that turns out to be untrue etc, then you also become responsible for that detrimental comment.

I've amended my comment to reflect that what has been said is an allegation and has not been proven to be true, and to state I can sue too!

This wasn't a dig at West Yorkshire bus by the way, just making sure I've covered my ass by clearly stating on all of the comments what have quoted my comment that my comment, however well intentioned, failed to make clear the fact that it's an alleged comment and that the content in the comment has not been proven true under British Law.

M4 times are now available on the Lancashirebus.co.uk website. There appears to be no co-ordination between other services between Keighley And Steeton so there will be seven buses an hour, but most hours will have a 19 minute gap and a 20 minute gap with buses leaving Keighley at xx00 xx20 xx20 xx21 xx40 xx50 xx50. Evening buses go from being at xx00 xx25 xx37 to xx00 xx11 xx25. Disappointing.

It's probably easier for Keighley to adjust their times considering the M4 is a small part of a large network that also needs to fit in with the 152 to Preston. Nice times at the Keighley end is probably the least of their priorities.

Probably, but my point is that they're not co-ordinating with each other and so are providing a much worse service than they could. Having 3 buses within a minute every daytime hour between Keighley and Steeton with 2 of those continuing to Crosshills is just daft. I mentioned it to @keighleybus on twitter and they just referred it on to @burnleybus and ignored me asking if they discussed the timetables with each other. They seem to be having trouble keeping their websites up to date too. The weekly gold ticket is now £33.50, but Transdev websites claim it's either £33 or £33.20 depending where you look - I mentioned it to them a fortnight ago.

Nice times at the Keighley end is probably the least of their priorities. Yes, although I believe the 762 is timed to tie in with the trains at either Ilkley or Steeton, so there may not be so much flexibility there as you would like - and with the 66 running every 20 minutes, it's not going to give an even spread when matched against a 30-minute frequency, although even off-setting it by just 5 minutes would be something! Although ignoring the trains and moving the buses by 15 minutes would help spread the service between Keighley and Steeton/Crosshills as well as putting them just ahead of Connexions on the run from Harrogate to Otley, so I wouldn't rule that out!

Suspect the X services may operate more direct between Ripon and Boroughbridge and/or Boroughbridge and York like the old X42 back in United days.

Times for the 951 are on the Derbyshire County Council website, significant changes to times with what looks like 1 journey less each way compared to last year, quite a gap in the afternoon from Glossop and Huddersfield but I suspect this is the least used part of the day. Earliest bus now arrives into Glossop an hour later just before 10am and the same from Glossop to Huddersfield. Last buses look later as well, last bus from Glossop is a good bit after 6 depending what day you travel as Sat and Sun/BH times are different. Period of operation looks similar to last year. I've just realised something as well, could the new bigger bus be for this route? It does need something big on good weather days.
