Apologies if this has been answered before but, why do Hunslet Park have both Leeds Heritage Buses? Eh? Surely one at Bramley, one at Hunslet would be better. They would cover a greater number of routes and would't just be stuck on the X84 constantly... Maybe it's just First being morons as usual...
Cheers, WYBS

Maybe it's you being moronic worrying about such a topic?
Maybe it's down to fleet availability at the time? Maybe it's down to chosing leather seated/better quality buses instead?

Sorry but first are terrible (obviously not all staff) but the majority of the time, drivers will be rude, obnoxious and not at all helpful. Filthy buses, graffiti covered windows and seats, crap on the floor, mud on seats - Every Bus!

Why are buses covered in graffiti? Why are they untidy? Why is there mud on the seats? There's a common denominator in all of those. And it is something outside of Firsts control.

If you have a complaint to first (like I saw a driver arguing with an elderly passenger the other week) they had absolutely no response. Just scroll through tweets to First, you soon get the picture. People are sick of them, especially in Leeds. Bradford drivers do tend to be nicer and more punctual though. I used to like them as a company, but after starting to travel regularly with them, they soon wear you down.

First don't put mud on their seats or graffiti their windows. I have very little issue with them, using their service 6 days a week. Drivers, if you're polite to them, they're polite to you. They're under immense pressure to stick to timetables and yet the general public have a go if they're late - very rarely their fault. People expect the buses to run for free because it's a 'public service', when it hasn't been that for a number of years.

If only you was aware of the constant hardwork, dedication and passion that goes into providing our bus service, you'd soon look at situations a whole lot differently.

They expect the bus to be on time 100% of the time, and don't accept any excuses. The city could be gridlocked and it's still First's fault for late running. Many of them probably don't even know the timetable, and expect on time to be the time they arrive at the bus stop.

Hey guys, I'm not really having a go at the frontline staff, some of them are possible miserable because of the management putting too much pressure on them? That's understandable. If you look at Yorkshire Tiger or Transdev, they are generally happier and more pleasant, maybe they are under less pressure? It would be interesting to hear from any First Leeds drivers if there are any on here. Anyway I said morons initially as a bit of an jokey exaggeration. Cheers, WYBS

Although they are smaller, Transdev (Keighley/ Harrogate/ Coastliner) buses are spotless 90% of the time. Why? Because I assume that they have a decent system for cleaning their buses regularly. Granted, First Leeds are bigger, but surely with a bigger fleet comes more staff to maintain them.

Going back to the original question,if you look across the rest of the first empire,of the areas what have heritage livery's you would notice that all the depots that are the company addresses for the area have more than 1 heritage repaint
Oldham Depot (First Manchester)66869,37451 Olive Grove Depot (First S Yorkshire) 37524,37229,37528 Leicester Depot (First Midlands) 32646,66965
Plus If/When the Leeds City Transport heritage livery comes out,i`m guessing it would be a Bramley depot vehicle that receives it
