this has always been my favourate bus, sounded beuatiful when it was brand new and some of the good condition ones still do, K605 HUM has experienced problems though when it accelarates from stationary, any know whats up with it?

Yes, i agree. I remember the old Scania's Yorkshire Traction (then Stagecoach in Yorkshire) use to have, they was my fravorite buses in the fleet. First South Yorkshire have a small ammount of Scania's with Wright bodywork, personally these outbeat the Volvo B10BLE's in the fleet. So on the whole, any Scania's are my fravorite buses.

They do sound great. I used to love waiting in Shipley for a bus to work and either a strider or an R type bodied double decker would come in on the 755. Could hear it powering up the hill to the market place. Wonderful
