EYMS will venture in to South Yorkshire for the first time as they takeover First's route between Goole and Thorne. Service 88 will feature 8 return journeys a day Mon-sat from early September. First offer frequent services between Thorne and Doncaster. EYMS, East Riding of Yorkshire Council & transport charity chef will be working together next week to inform passengers.

Maybe they'll open a depot in Goole next. Joking. But still would be nice...
Glad to hear they are expanding.

As Goole is in East Yorkshire this seems right. I marvelled at how Goole was possibly the capital of disintegrated transport, with routes in different directions run by different operators!

Good teamwork today to promote the new 88. EYMS organised a stall at Thorne Market. The event was supported by First and members of the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership. Tomorrow I will be on First buses advising passengers (Funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council) of the service change. Excellent article in Goole Times. This is how transport should be!
