The 23rd of August will see the 2nd Leeds vintage bus running day, with vintage and modern classic buses running across the city in an event building on the success of the 2014 running day. This year, two routes will operate, the '46' serving Thwaite Mills, City Centre and Leeds Industrial Museum, Armley. The rolling stock on the '46' will be primarily made up of LCT buses of varying ages. The '26' route will serve The Middleton Railway, City Centre and Kirkstall Abbey www.facebook.com/events/1488599921415314/

It's nearly time for the second Leeds Running Day! Two routes operating ( or hopefully!!) running to a frequent timetable will bring preserved vehicles from West Yorkshire and further afield back into Leeds City Centre and onto a variety of destinations. Both routes will share common ground on New York Street, just outside the Bus Station and only a short walk from the Train Station. They shall then part, one route for older Leeds buses running between Thwaites Mill and Armley. The second service will run between Middleton Railway and Kirkstall Abbey and compromise of a good mix of buses. A special tour will operate between Leeds and, well it's a surprise!
Be sure to pop along, an amazing booklet that contains vehicle information, information about the event and of course the all important timetables is available for a steal at £2.50!
Hopefully see you there.
P.S, come say hello if you travel on Leopard 8534!
