I notice that the standard WYPTE/Yorkshire Rider destination display box, the straight line destination plus 3 numbers, used all the way from 1974 to 1987 and also retrofitted to other acquired buses since then is almost extinct
There's only the last few Roe/Optare Olympians plus some buses in Huddersfield remaining with this
From 1988, YR decided to go with other non standard destination displays and also started to experiment with dot matrix displays. The F & G reg Northern Counties Olympians were the turning point although I don't know what these buses carried when new

arriva 404 still after 6 months with no destination blind maybe this bus is to be withdrawn soon!

Arriva Yorkshire 624 and 632 have received new scroll across destination blinds. The next thing they need is a repaint into interurban livery! I caught 624 this afternoon and believe me it's definitely seen better days!
