Saw my first brand new E200 this morning. 1004 (YY14LFP) at approximately 10:04am rather ironically. On the 10:02 Knottingley - Wakefield '188'. Well impressed. Will probably 'bash' one later this week.

Been on 1013 & 1028 today, managed to navigate the narrow streets smoothly, the ZF gearbox sounds like the gearbox on the Volvo B5LH.
Sent from my GT-I8190N using proboards

One of Dewsbury's 126/7 branded Geminis, 1533, seen in 202/3 today. Is there any need to do this, especially on a Sunday when vehicle use is reduced?
Commander 1412 on 282/3 and the question asked here is, is there insufficient availability of Pulsars for the routes to warrant the bus used?

It could be that the Geminis are better on fuel than the Volvos so cheaper option Commander in use could be down to logistics being parked where it would need moving so it gets used instead, or readily available for a changeover, they are packed in at Cut End

I often wondered the same with Heckmondwike on a Sunday. Most of the single decks tend to be parked up with most routes run by double decks (Mainly Geminis). Are they cheaper to run than the B7RLE's? Wouldn't have thought double decks were necessary for most of the routes.

Arriva Selby Dart 261 having a change of scenery from it's usual route today. Having a few trips out to Wakefield on the '150's. Also saw a Stagecoach Barnsley single decker (branded for Barnsley-Goldthorpe-Doncaster route) recieving attention in the layover bay at Pontefract Bus Station. Looked as though it'd lost it's nearside wing mirror on route so having a replacement fitted.
