According to the March/April 2008 edition of "Bus Fayre" Keighley & District's forthcoming (June) 8 Volvo B7RLE/Wrightbus will be in a new livery created by Ray Stenning of Best Impreesions design company.
The whole Keighley & District fleet is to be changed including "The Zone" which I bellieve is to be dropped. The change will apply to Harrogate & District also. Details are, as yet, unavailable. Wonder if the buses on the 36 and 662 will change too?
Seems an odd idea to me, as I think the liveries are very smart and the buses are kept clean.

It depends on if the new livery is better than than that on 662 Urbans and 36 Geminis.. Also, they might leave these liveries alone and just change the standard livery for the whole of the fleet.

The B7RLEs are already starting to arrive and carry the standard K&D livery. The new livery is a long term idea. It doesn't effect the 662 or 36 etc

can someone answer me this question why do the 662 urbans carry a red headlight pannel and some of them silver? it just seems odd and about 3/4 of them in the new lively and the rest of them in the old lively on the B10Bs?

B7RLE could be branded and put on the 760 like the H&D 36.
Infact what is a good idea is to take the 66 off that Kegihely-Skipton route and have the 760 start and finish at Skipton-Keighely-Leeds with keighely bus station been the only real layover (5-10 Minutes)

I think that would then require the buses to have tachographs fitted to meet the recent European legislation of bus routes of over 50Km in length.
Hence why a lot of lenghty local rural bus routes are been axed altogether, cut in half or omit areas to reduce the length to avoid tachos having to be fitted.

I remember when the 760 would operate Keighley-Shipley-Leeds-Whetherby. That is clearly longer then the Skipton-Keighley-Leeds!!
