AY Darwen 1805 has now been repainted into new Arriva Livery Penfold Thanks for that Penfold, I'll look out for it! They're certainly cracking on with the repainting programme now. No wonder they decided to keep Spectras in service. Does anyone else agree that this new livery is probably so much quicker to apply than various other liveries sported by Belle Isle based buses over the past 30 years?

It's great that they're cracking on with the repaint programme. I struggle to understand how they decide which buses to send. For example, 1412 looks desperately in need!

Heckmondwike Volvo Wright Eclipse 1106 is in service in the new base blue colour.
No stripes or logos applied though.
Nice to see they've started on this batch, some of which are in original delivery paintwork. Thought they may have had internal refurb at same time too, however still same internally.

These are in desperate need for an internal refurb, can’t understand why it’s not been done at the same stage as the repaint

Shame there has been another problem, however it is now back in service this evening.

AY1947 has been repainted into new sapphire livery I also note that it has had the decorative route art removed from the panels between driver cab and stairs. Scratched and tatty after 2.5 years in service perhaps?
