Not a major repaint as such, just a quick one to say Pulsar 1463 has now lost it's rear end advert for Sandal Motors and reverted back to normal livery on its back end.

Hi Mark, which livery has it gone in please? Thought I'd ask given the couple of E200s that went into a livery similar to Max.

1808 is a Selby bus not Wakefield so won't be anything to do with Wakefield Frequento workings 1800-1805 believed to be going into Frequenta livery. Penfold 1800 seen working in Leeds yesterday, in Frequenta base livery.

1810 back and 1811 is away now Hi Mark, does 1810 have the white edging around the swoop? They seem to have missed that on 1808. I also notice that 1808 had the headlight surrounds painted like Frequenta examples, rather than leaving them chrome.

That's good, had noticed on 1810 today. Position does seem slightly different to before. Thanks for confirming Mark.
It's interesting now, there are again so many subtle livery variations in the fleet, like in the Caldaire days 25 to 30 years ago. Back then I could often tell a bus by some unique livery variation - of course loads of overall ad liveries in those days too.
1810 also has the USB charging points, which is great and obviously becoming standard these days. None for the upstairs front seats though!

AY 1918, is the latest Dewsbury Enviro 400 to lose its " grand connections Yorkshire " on the front , but this also has a new left hand side corner panel , in a totally different colour to the rest of the bus . To my knowledge that's 3 now missing their " GCY " must be having a run of bad luck with accidents !

Anyone else reckon that Dewsbury's E400's are next in line for a repaint, I know they are only 2 years old but at least 6 are missing their GYC branding at front ( have been for months ) and their paint work already looks tired. Maybe now the pool fleet have quite a few spares that this process will begin! - thoughts ?

Maybe now the pool fleet have quite a few spares that this process will begin! - thoughts ? They seem to be quite laxed when it comes to maintaining branding. Although I'm guessing that the "Grand Yorkshire Connections" thing may be no longer be applicable as it doesn't fit in with the new livery schemes. I reckon Heckmondwike's Eclipse vehicles are probably more in need of repaint personally. I expected that 1104 would have had a full repaint after the collision last year - it clearly didn't as the damaged windscreen pillar was patched up in sandstone. Also, repainting 2 year old vehicles probably doesn't make economic sense these days, in an era where it's harder to make services profitable. Let's face it, retiring Spectras 708 and 713 didn't seem to have a full repaint throughout their service life. Look at some of their ECW bodied Leyland Olympian predecessors - most had at least 4 or 5 repaints in similar lifespan, granted some were due to political changes (initial Metro National agreement verona insistence and later privatisation).
