Just noticed that 324A Huddersfiled to Meltham is going to be re-introduced by "Sunny Travel" in March. I presume this is the latest name for Paul's Travel, Easi-Rider, Fair-Rider etc? I read on another thread that the low floor buses that went to South Yorkshire are now back at the Fair Rider depot. If someone has their licence revoked, how can they start operating again so soon (unless they have got a licence under a different name).

You've answered your own question.
Rejoice, good people of Huddersfield!

I think this sunny travel is just fair rider back again.
I've seen one of the BMC repainted in white on the front end (I didn't see the sides).
Also, I think those same 5 BMC will go into this new Sunny travel business.

Quality buses for a errr, quality operator!
I reckon it must be another member of the Singh family, I saw the license thing on VOSA and it wasn't your usual Mr Paul Singh.
I wonder how long they last before heading off into the sunset...again.

Is this Service running or packed up altogether?
324A is not on Metro's website (?)

Every trace of it has been removed from Metro's website therefore it mustn't be happening until further notice

I wouldn't have bothered myself with the route been on the busiest First route in Huddersfield the Green Lines, NO COMPETION AT ALL.

Incidentally how did First and K Line end up operating this co-operatively, wasn't it previously in competition between them and also whatever Paul's Travel were calling themselves that week.
First provide a 10-minute Mon to Fri frequency, but miss out one of the journeys which instead K Line runs as the 324B. Could this be interpreted as anti-competitive, or is it seen as a positive co-ordination of a public service?!

Good news! A new licence under the name of Santokh Singh has registered a new service to Meltham as of the end of April changes. That's a turn up for the books!
