From next Sunday (20th July), the following Heckmondwike depot services will be linked together on Sundays only. This is to get rid of Driver changeovers & breaks in Cleckheaton. 223 Mirfield - Leeds, will then return as 254 Leeds - Dewsbury, which will then go onto 253 Dewsbury - Bradford and vice versa 229 Huddersfield - Leeds will return from Leeds as 255 Leeds - Halifax and vice versa I've was told this, yesterday when I saw new Rotas

This has been mentioned before but I can't find it. Does anyone know what the situation is with the 145/148/149/150 services, are all journeys run by Wakefield (& Selby), or is there certain services run by Castleford? Cas run 148/149/150's 150's interwork with 184 to wakie and back most of day, an early partial 149 (pont-wakie) is always a dart as it leaves wakie as a 188. Some Sunday ones: 159/177/159 135/pvt to carcroft/411/pvt back 135. 177/136/177 The 135 is just cas-Pont and the 136's are just pont-cheq-pont

Heckmondwike's had 253 on Sundays for about 4 or 5 years now.

I know the evening return journeys usually come into Leeds as private and leave as the 217 but don't know about the morning journeys

From the recent timetable changes for Heckmondwhike Depot, on a Sunday the 254/255 interlink with the 220/221/222 routes.

Is the 167/168 now operated by the E200s as the normal allocation? It's a service I haven't paid much attention to previously, but I've seen them a lot lately and it's always these small buses, which look odd running into Leeds
What is the usual allocation on the X41 and do these run dead from Wakefield to Leeds to start the service?

The single decks at Castleford tend to follow the lines of what ever is available I think all the evening X41's out of Leeds are run out of service into Leeds from school services

Usually a single decker ( pulsar ) these days. I tend to see one parked up on Calverley Street near LGI around 4.45/5pm.

Out of interest, now the 254/255 interwork, do they still do driver changeovers in Cleckheaton or are they all done in Heckmondwike now?

Mon-Fri 254 arrives in Leeds & changes to either 255 Scholes or Halifax, depending on the time, and vice versa. Saturdays 254 & 255 stick to their own routes, and Sundays 254 still interact with 223 & 253, and 255 still interacts with 229

Speaking of long-distance rotas do the 495 and 496 interwork on Sundays? They must cover some mileage if so!

Does anyone know what school runs Castleford depot do?
I'm thinking some of them may be run by the hybrids which would be a rare situation, there is a 'SH only' journey in the 163/166 timetable which would allow this.

There's a school run that finishes in Cross Gates, 588 route I think, that goes on to x60 from Leeds which is sometimes a hybrid

Do services 147, 443 & 481 interwork with each other Mon to Sat daytimes? If they don't they seem to have almost hour long layovers in Wakefield?
