Yes, a great day out. The highlight probably the run to Ponte on TWY 8 with it's wonderfully melodic gearbox

Fantastic day out. Really enjoyed it. Weather couldn't have been any better either. Some fabulous well kept vehicles on show there. Credit due to all their respective owners. 'star of the show' for me tho, was Great Yarmouth Transport's AEC Swift '85. Brought back many happy memories of holidays there in the late 70's/early 80's of it, and many others running up n down Marine Parade on the '5', '7', and '16'.

Really looking forward to Sunday, as my dad and myself missed it last year. Such a shame tho, that the vintage bus service from Pontefract (service 70) leaves way too early for us, at least 30 minutes before our connecting bus gets in to Pontefract Bus Station from Knottingley. So it's either a taxi to town to make sure we get there in time to catch the vintage bus. Or wait for the 10.15 '188' which drops us off near the showground. Decisions, decisions
