Was 175 withdrawn after service yesterday? I rode on it yesterday on the 282 and my ticket read 13:44:02.

Looks like Castleford have got rid of theirs already, (apart from 165-7, saw 166 yesterday). Shame to see 'em go if i'm honest. Always found 'em a comfortable bus.

What a shame, Their end came quicker than i thought. 197 has seen plenty of use this week though. Ive seen it on The 280's 253 and 278? I also thought there was a lot more than just two left. Im the first to admit im not a big fan of Dart's in general, But i always thought the ALX200 was far superior to the Plaxton Pointer bodied version. Arriva Yorkshire's and Arriva Cymru's alway's looked, sounded and rode far better than First WY's tired tatty example's that are still in use today. When you look at all the small independants still using step-entrance example's of Dart's it becomes even more tragic that most of the AY ALX's will be scrapped.

Can we be sure it's the end for them? The DAF Ikarus are still running, saw 11 out today.

The ALX 200's had an appalling seating plan for anyone taller than a midget. There was a super high seat over the wheel arch up at the back that meant your knees were literally pressing into the person's head in front of you.
I still think the Yorkshire Woollen livery looks better on these buses than Arriva.

Anyone reckon 165-167 will be kept in service a bit longer? They seem much better quality and have benefited from a recent refurbishment...

They will but those three came after the sale to Arriva Didn't 165-167 Originally come new to Dewsbury approx 2000 on "W"plate's?. If thats the case then maybe they'll have another 3 or 4 year's left in them yet.
