www.flickr.com/photos/georgebusphotos/7228644850/in/photostreamK3 YCL has returned to Waterloo depot despite apparently being scraped and despite its registration now being on 877 East Lancs Lolyne. I have noticed that it has had its old seats removed downstairs and replaced with new bench seats to match the upstairs seats. anyone any ideas at all why it has returned?

Apparently Plaxton Centro [YJ07 JSX] which must have been on hire is now part of the Sanders of Holt
Huddersfield Bus Company Vdl Plaxton Centro 627 [YJ07 JSZ] has now been repainted into the Huddersfield Bus company livery similar to 725, as seen on the 231/2 today

Leyland Olympian K3YCL was sporting a new registration today though not 100% certain what it is as I was driving past the depot at the time.

If true that is a change as the 2 ex NCT OmniCities were due to go onto the Transpeak which would indicate that if they are now moving to Leeds then it is likely both of the Solars would be heading for Dove Holes for the Transpeak in their place. The original plan was 2 Omnicities + 907 (an Olympus decker) from Leicester which have all moved already (though one of the Omnicities is in paint at the moment apparantly) with the 2 ex NCT Omnicities and a couple of spare Solars from the existing Dove Holes allocation would replace the Excels from the Transpeak moving them to lighter local duties as spares etc.. |

It has been in service, seen last Saturday morning (9th, although not by me) leaving Huddersfield on the 09:30 85 to Barnsley. This service only runs Weds & Sats so might be worth anybody local keeping an eye on it as this may have become it's regular duty.  |

Ive just been sent an email on flickr of one of my mates saying that he 'heard from a passenger that one of Huddersfield Bus vehicles caught fire last week and disgorged it passenger at Aspley by Lidle on a run from Waterloo!' and was wondering if anyone know anymore information on this?

Talking to our engineers you are correct. 702 is moving to Waterloo where it will displace 748 to Dove Holes where it will be joined by 704 for the Transpeak with the 2 ex-NCT OmniCities now moving to Leeds to replace them. |

The two ex NCT Scania's are now at Leeds, fully repainted. 768 was on active service today, 769 may follow suit tomorrow.

I believe this was 651 although not sure how bad it is. 651 was reported around January, it must have been quite bad because it has not been seen in Service since, unless stated otherwise of course. |
