At Waterloo this morning was an all-over white MCV Evolution. Didn't get reg no, but think it was "60" plate. Had HBC lettering on front.

The reg no might live on, probably attached to something wholly inappropriate like a so-slow based in Gary Lineker land.

According to Centrebus themselves(I emailed them regarding where fleet number 731 was), it is currently having a new engine fitted. It has now had a new engine fitted but retains old gearbox and is back out in service as i caught it yesterday

From what I could see while the flap was up resembled engine compartments on those end of life examples when towed into the various Carlton Yards. Pity that HBC didn't do something about the nearside body panels on it as well while it was resting!

Now that greenroad has been up and running for a while at elland depot, does anyone know of any plans to use greenroad at any other centrebus depots?

More than likely because it is saving Centrebus about 100 Litres of fuel a day

looks like there has been a transfer of a Alexander decker to Huddersfield for schools, not sure if it is a layland or a scania but from seeing it from a far I think it could be this H231LOM www.flickr.com/photos/mcw1987/7099759229/in/photostream/Saw it parked up in Hudds bus stn thurs aft. Talk about going backwards this bus is even older than the Oly it replaced.

Fair enough, If it's better mechanically. But i would'nt have thought driver comfort would have been top of your employer's list though.
