© Andrew Stopford It shows a great company when they have to loan buses from a company and branded buses at that. Brings memorys of Red Line who loan there buses too Cough, cough. Apology?

Good to see proper blinds, many operators don't manage that.
With the MetroConnect style livery, no wonder Metro are bigging them up in Changing Times.

Ah so they are Caetano bodied & not UVG... No they are UVG bodied Darts Matty Its been confirmed that the SLF's are on a long term lease as Rotala state they have to many buses at West Midlands and will make well extra revnue i expect by leasing to little operators to help them kick start them selves. Similar deals have been done between Your Bus (Dunn Line Motors) and Rotala before.. But to state that Rotala have no connections or shares within in YL.

Yorkshire Line - A message from the chief executive of Rotala
I have been made aware there is some dialogue on the enthusiast circuit over the darts we are providing to Yorkshire Line Limited. If you ever have any questions, you should ask. I do not have a problem, telling people what is going off. If I can’t for reasons of confidentiality then obviously I will point this out, either way there is no harm in asking. Anyway;
We currently have too many buses, we want to sell a number off and recognise that at the present moment in time the appetite of banks/financial institutions to support small companies is not what it was a few years ago. Consequently, through Stafford Bus Centre (Our buses are advertised on his web site) we are renting buses for a period of time, and at the end of that rental, the company have the option to acquire the buses for a nominal fee. Our arrangement with Yorkshire Line is along this basis. Rotala, any Director or any other shareholder, have no financial interest in Yorkshire Line so far as I am aware. We purely see this as a mechanism to sell off surplus buses. The contents of this email, are not confidential. Many thanks Simon

In short, Yorkshire Line are loaning the CC darts in the hope that Yorkshire Line will buy them at a later date.

Anybody have information on fares - this will be one of the main factors in the success of the routes.

Some pictures of Yorkshire Line's PR exercise in Morley (from their Facebook site): No mention of fares on their Facebook page but could be possible that the information might have been in the leaflets they were handing out yesterday.

They've produced some leaflets, which puts them ahead of practically every other operator in the county already!

Wish them look. They look like they've put some serious effort in behind the scenes! I hope they gradually over the coming months, grow and expand their business.

I wonder how many 60p fares they will charge.
As a bonus, Yorkshire Line charge a 60p flat fare for Concessionary Pass holders before 9:30am Monday to Friday instead of the usual full fare.
Holders of other operators day/weekly/monthly/annual tickets - 60p per journey.
Bargain Return tickets available - Just ask your driver.

Which one is named Alice? The one they used for the Morley Promotion, unfortunately the number plates had been blanked out on their pictures but on one we had earlier it would appear to be R135 RLY
