First Question:
Were you on 61119 because I know on the vehicle height plate in drivers cab, some twit has put the Beast on that one. It is infact 61118.
The reason she is known as the beast is because she goes like stink and only experienced drivers can handle her. Ask any Bramley depot driver!

someone also said K627 HUG is a good bus to go on so thats the bus im going to try and go on next if theres a beast -style bus in bradford it should go to L605 PWR 30785 that bus sounds like a rocket setting off at the moment

61118 L640PWR oh my god, this bus flies compared to other striders from its era. down harehills lane and up towards potternetwon park is awesome, never expirienced a proper bus ride on the 91 till i got on 61118, she's a nice ride, comfortable and should easily be beaten to the scrap yard by 61050/1 and 61055/6! as for 61105 K627HUG she is my 2nd favourite strider to get on, lovely ride and enough leg room for me on a morning! nice to see her and 61118 still flying about and will be a shame to see them go when eventually lost to the scrappy/ dtu (driver training unit!)

haha 5509 i was on that bus often on school services and it used to be only me on at the end loads of times it reved it engine up and it scared me to death that and 5511 5511 had a dodgy gear system and thats why it went to york because it could not cope with bradford hills the gears kept gettin stuck in 1st

all of 5507-16 were fast performers on account of their powerful Leyland TL11 and high speed rear axle, 5515 is best to me
