Hopefuly someone will capture a pic but the details are as follows.
Numbered 421-424 and registered BD11CEA, BD11CEF, BD11CEJ, BD11CEK.
Wonder if they are at Malton yet.
Also after downloading the WYIS fleetlist it has Olympian L778SNO back in the York fleetlist and the 04 gemini's at Harrogate on loan.
Hopefuly someone on the forum can clear a few things up.

Where do the Gemini's head after that ? They won't be needed at Malton anymore as they have 4 brand new Gemini 2's.

Nobody knows for certain, as you will know, as it gets discussed every week.

Fair enough. Im suprised L778SNO is back at York. I thought this had been withdrawn for good but apparently it's all fresh in the two tone blue livery and i understand Harrogate has 2 old ECW Oly's from Lancashire. All sourced from WYIS.

The two ECW Olys will be for the Flower Show shuttles this coming weekend. They have also acquired some school runs to Boroughbridge which they will probably be for as well. Can we however keep such things to the Fleet Changes thread as opposed to taking yet another thread well off thread.

Leather... ugh no! Not on long journeys like that, it is worse enough sitting on the 110 for half an hour.

Why not go and have a look if you really need to know, you are closer to Malton that most of us.

Most airlines now use leather on their aircraft and they are extremely comfortable.
What the seats like on the 36 ? Always wondered why upstairs is leather, downstairs is fabric.
Hope to see them Gemini's on the road soon anyway.

Leather is comfortable! Clearly you've traveled on a crap bus if you think its not! Like WYB says, get on a coastliner and then get on the 36 leather seat. You want them leather seats on the long run up to east coast Yorkshire towns.
And as for airlines? Ever flown Jet2. If so how comfortable where there seats cause there new interior is just SO comfortable. I did Egypt before the civil outbreak and never been so comfortable for a six hour and 35 minute flight.

The reason why airlines use leather is because the seats are easier to clean.

If you have travelled on a 1978 Bristol VRT, then yes leather is uncomfortable. A 2003 Gemini is a different story.
What are the 36 Gemini's having done to them at the moment anyway ? They seem to be taking a while.

Leather makes me get hot and sweaty in hot weather and you slide off them all the time the bus brakes. If a bus has leather, I would rather it had Air Conditioning aswell.

Fresh air does nothing, especially when you are sat at the front upstairs. Air con does a better job of cooling you down.

Don't sit at the front.

To be honest I think leather seats are a fad and not that necessary, you can get a perfectly comfortable seat made out of the normal material. Would a leather seat cushion on an Urban90 seat be comfortable? I think not.

A service has been registered - see End of May service changes thread - yet another case of TH taking the thread off topic.

A service has been registered - see End of May service changes thread - yet another case of TH taking the thread off topic. Well im sorry ive ruined your sunday. It's Transdev related anyway not as if i have gone on talking about cheese on a topic. Im only asking a question because it has Transdev York operating the flamingo land service on the service changes list rather than a Malton based vehicle. As for the gemini's not seen one yet.

To be fair, that's the service this is vehicle's and without vehicles you won't really have services. Holland was right to post in here, but maybe should of re-worded the question.
