In Route One this week, it states that Thornes Independent are to close their Horsforth depot with the six vehicles their transferring to Hemingbrough. This will happen at the end of this month.
And before anybody asks, I personally have no idea what is based at the Horsforth depot at present, perhaps someone else could enlighten us.

IIRC Horsforth only have: VH02OOH Van Hool SH09THO Paragon VH09THO Paragon R200VHO Delta

Will they still operate the Asda Killingbeck bus services then which the Delta is usually assigned to? An awful lot of dead milage from Hemingbrough!

I presume they will. Operated it for years and cant see it being let go that easily.

Are the Horsforth buses branded Thornes. They still do alot of rail contracts i see.

AThey still do alot of rail contracts i see. Only Horsforth do the Rail Contracts, Hemingbrough is hounded to Schools/Private Charter.
