This years rally will be on Sunday 28th October 2012 from 12:00 to 19:00 with stalls plus buses running to & from the Sportsman Inn at Ploughcroft (Large hill to climb) This will be the last rally to be held at the Piece Hall due to the refurbishment of the Piece Hall going ahead next year.For more information see: www.avtg.co.uk/80336/info.php?p=6I may be taking a bus too  |

Who is going on Sunday? I will be attending with a Tempo but I've been told it is parking at the Sportsman so I presume it is full at the Piece Hall. First will be in attendance with 37045 & YHB aren't going to be taking as many buses as last year, more visiting buses than anything else.
I am going to be selling programmes too.

I went , it took me 6 hours to get from sheffield to Halifax !
A good day went via Holmfirth model railway exhibtiiton , missed a ride on the routemaster from Huddersfield , as we couldnt find where it stopped & photod two breakdowns.
The peace hall was very good ,surprised to see so many buses there , parking the none service buses up hill so you could get shots from the gallery was a very good idea.
A good day far better event and organisation than in previous years.

Great day out. First time I've been.
A good selection of vehicles on display & in use.
I went on the following:
WYPTE 8534
Leeds 916
Strathtay Scottish 438
Southdown 267
It was indeed bleak up at the Sportsman and a very chilly / wet / windy run down on the top deck of Southdown 267, but had to be done!
I have plenty photos that I will be uploading to my Flickr account once I have finished sorting through them.
Thanks to all who organised / contibuted to what was a great event.

The Nocturnal Heart of the Pennines rally will be held in Halifax on Sunday 27th October 2013 from 1200 to 1900, with buses once again running to the Sportsman at Ploughcroft Halifax.
It is looking like this years event could be the last in its current guise.
For those wanting to be there at the start it is 12:00 GMT
