Have been on a couple of Midland Red's E300s, they're better at accelerating compared to Volvo B7RLEs (at least under ZF power)

Alison's have always been faster accelerating than SOME ZF's. The newer Alison's like in this E300 and Tempo's are really fast accelarating. I came to Halifax on a JPT Enviro300 and that was fast.

Is that the bus in a red and white livery with small first logo? Rode on it the other day on service 607 (daytime), got to time point early so maybe slightly faster. The Temsa was also running the same day so first must like running on this route (also the last trolleybus route). It used to be red buses on wyrcc and blue buses on bct - now it could be (on the front) red buses on first or maybe a blue bus on transdev.
