If there are four then I don't know what the details of the other two are. If I do find out their details, I'll post it on the forum.

They have an old RB Merc knocking around too. Must be at least 1989 built.

This company have been contracted by firstgroup? To run shuttles for the Olympics. Think it's for the corporate shuttles down there.

Yes its This company not Essex as I have a friend who works for them and he is off down with them to the Olympics. I did wonder if they have any luxury coaches myself. Think was just 3 coaches going down.

R285/86/LGH Volvo Olympians added to the fleet ex GNE. Also added are ex Arriva North West DAF Ikarus Polaris MK52XNN and MK52XNR. The 2 MPD Darts have left the fleet been replaced by small Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses too. Please correct if I am wrong.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-35231522A school bus run by Stephensons got stuck in floodwater near Newton-on-Ouse this morning, with about 30 kids on board. It appears that the driver ignored a road closed sign and the bus got swept off the road and partially into a ditch while driving through the flood. The bus is a mini Enviro 200, but it's hard to see which one because the number plate is underwater From the news reports, it doesn't sound like the driver handled the situation at all well, and it was left to some of the older/more mature kids to keep order and keep the others calm.

Look North on BBC1 were claiming that the driver passed 2 road closed signs. If this is true then I wonder what will be the reaction of the companies insurers will be if this appears is a deliberate move by the driver to ignore road closed signs and continue on his own "merry" way. Also I would hope that at sometime in the near future the driver will be explaining his actions to the magistrates at York Court. Reckless driving at least and possibly dangerous driving.

I've read that it was a student that rang 999 not the driver. The office must also be to blame for not informing the driver of appropriate diversions.

You'd think for a bus driver, the one who's really responsible for everyone on the bus. The priority would be to keep all passengers and driver safe. It's the same principle they apply to everyone who drives any vehicle. It's in the Highway Code , and they teach this to all learner drivers.
