Looking at the recent Arriva News stories about the 14 New Buses introduced in Southport earlier in the week the article goes on to promote the Local Saver tickets in the North West.
"Arriva North West’s multi-journey saver tickets offer unlimited travel and great savings, making it easier and cheaper to travel in and around Southport. Day saver tickets are just £4, Weekly Savers are £15 and 4 Weekly tickets are £57".
Unless I am mistake I thought the West/South Yorkshire ones were £4, £16 and £60 repectively. Better discounts available in the North West.

Alot of things have to be taken into account when pricing tickets in individual regions, one of the most important is drivers wages and if I remember rightly I think our (Arriva Yorkshire) are one of the highest driver wages outside London.

I don't disagree with what you are saying and the day tickets do vary in price within the different Arriva regions.
In the example I noticed that the day tickets were priced the same yet the weekly and monthly ones were cheaper over to the West of the Pennines.
