Anyone fill one of these in, or know anyone who did? Anyone got a view? www.arrivabus.co.uk/content.aspx?id=8651Survey highlights Nationally •reliability - up by 3% •overall satisfaction - 93% •satisfaction with Arriva's bus drivers - 91% •satisfaction with cleanliness on board the bus - 83%

Must have missed that bus they were on!
Have to say that I haven't noticed any marked rise in driving standards locally; we still have the race to the next stop and brake sharply syndrome with some of them. I can though, think of one Dewsbury based driver whose driving quality is of that higher standard.
I do think the buses are much cleaner now (wait until winter really sets in to see if things change) and are most certainly better inside.

I agree with a lot of what is said by Guyarab, I have noticed an improvement in the presentation of the buses out of Heckmondwike in particular.
I cannot say the same about the ones based at Castleford, Tempos excluded.
I still fail to see why some drivers find the need to race between stops only to have to wait at the next timing point.

they seem to do that on 229 rush from Heckmondwike then having to wait ages at Birstall then same again to Gildersome Green and the driver looks soo bored having to wait while some are in a rush to get a cig in!!!!

I went on the 126 from Dewsbury to Wakefield last year and the driver was a right comic. When setting off he called out { Sit down please I do not know how to drive} When approaching a bus stop he would say { Next stop Kings Arm for recovering alcoholics}

Arriva Dewsbury has the more friendlier bus drivers out of all the depots. Arriva Dewsbury qualified for Investors in People Registration a few years ago, might have something to do with it

You can't beat one of the Geldards drivers a right character - manages to convince people to board his bus rather than those buses with 'unfriendly drivers' (First) (His words not mine!) It works as well!

Ah Ah , I've been on his bus before & people say something like "How much is it to the White Rose" and he'd reply with something like "That'd be £24.60 please" I find him really funny.
