my dad and his girlfriend drive for arriva in dewsbury and they say 54 is a bad drive. Interesting I had heard that was not liked by the drivers. It will be interesting to see if that one gets repainted into Interurban

An UID East Lancs Olympian was under suspended tow South Bound on the M1 between J39 and J38.
It was identical in looks to Arriva Yorkshire 511-521 but given the where it was on the M1 it could have been from the North East or even North West on route to the Barnsley Crematorium.

arriva in newcastle run some M *** HPF as well so mayb it was one on them :F Several of these North East examples have been withdrawn and stripped recently so it could have been one of these heading to Carlton. Meanwhile AY 511 (the one with the defective gearbox) is currently being repaired at Belle Isle with another example parked next to it. Both have the yellow NFS stickers in the windscreen. M698HPF (ex AY 515 ??) has been repainted in full Tees Valley Stagecarriage livery by AY and is currently parked at Belle Isle. Penfold

It is possible the Olympian I saw last week Southbound on the M1 was a Arriva Yorkshire example if it left Belle Isle towards Wakefield it would have to go to the motorway via Dewbury Road, under suspended tow it wouldn't pass under the low railway bridge on Denby Dale road at Thornes.
