Only 673 and 674 currently appear to have been been repainted and refurbished, current status of the other 18.
651-654 and 656 are at Selby 651 is in Sandstone/Aquamarine and the other five were painted into Interurban Livery some 5 years ago
Those at Castleford in Sandstone/Aquamarine are 659, 661, 662, 663, 667, 669 and 672 although the latter as not been seen in the last few weeks so this might be the next to re-appear following a refurbish. Contrary to a previous report 659 is not in Interurban Livery.
Those which were repainted into Interurban some 5 years ago are 657, 658, 664, 665, 668 and 671, none of these have been refurbished

They weren't repainted into interurban 5 years ago, 3 years at most. I can remember seeing 657 as the first ALX400 in Interurban shortly after the Lowlanders were in service.

For some reason I had it down for the summer of 2005 but you are right they were being done at or about the same time as the Lowlanders appeared in Summer 2006, 3 1/2 years ago then, they just look 5!!!!!!

671 is now sporting a set of seats retrimmed in the very latest Arriva Fabric.
671 might also be the first Interurban liveried bus to get a second coat having been repainted for second time.

I was on 651 the other day and noticed a little box with lights that went across when the bus sped up on drivers dashboard, any ideas what its for?

Depending on how hard you 'thrash' the bus depends on how many lights show on the display. You are supposed to drive within the green or yellow lights. The bus should change up to the next gear before it gets into the red zone. Penfold

Penfold In English, this means that if the driver is very gentle with their right foot and they feed the power in gently, rather than stamp their foot hard down all the time, the technology in the gearbox will change up with a very smooth action no snatching and providing an exceptionally smooth ride for everyone. In reality if this approach to driving is undertaken the following will occur. This bus will be late and full of disgruntled passengers but the old saying of you wait ages for a bus and then three turn up at once will prove true.
