At the bottom of the Dewsbury Bus Museum Web Site Welcome Page www.dewsburybusmuseum.co.uk/#/welcome/4525956892Removed from Arriva DAF Ikarus vehicles, these two sets are complete and in working order. One has damage to the black cosmetic trim on the front and so is selling at the lower price. These have been donated on the understanding that they are sold to bus enthusiasts and not commercial businesses, every penny will be donated to The Sick Children's Trust. Price £50 for the perfect one, £35 for the other. No haggling! If you are interested, please contact Tony on 0844 504 0085 or e-mail admin@dewsburybusmuseum.co.uk

The amount of destination equipment that goes straight to scrap, there could be much more money going to charity if they were salvaged first. There must be 100s of First West Yorkshire blinds at PVS Carlton that enthusiasts would collect

Outside of Selby the numbers can now be counted on the fingers of one hand. I would expect that there are still a significant number of the blinds themselves laying around in corners of many depots, some of which could be quite collectable, especially if the likes of First, Arriva etc knew that the proceeds were going to a worthy cause.

Only the cheaper one of the two left now.
Just so you know, it works no problems there. The reason it is a little cheaper is the black plastic which hides the mechanism is damaged and some of the mechanism is visible.
A bit of simple DIY required that's all.
