Now that Heckmondwike's buses have got those fancy wheels it would seem Dewsbury garage has started putting them on theirs.
As has been posted elsewhere, Dart 196 is so fitted and now VDL/East Lancs 1603 has been seen sporting them.
Will the next bus to be treated please step forward and identify yourself?

Should be interesting to see if Dewsbury apply them to all their Darts on mass or just the ones repainted and make the rest of the Darts wait until they are repainted. I understand the aim is to improve the image hence be nice to see the Commanders and Enviro 200's in them someday soon. Will the Ikarus get any, I suppose 11 could be the first of these?

I think the ALX300's look a lot better with them on than what they did without.

Looks like 57 & 58 do have a future as 58 was sporting a set of wheel trims today, not sure that they have added that much to what is a rather drab looking pair of buses.
Might look better if they recieve the updated livery!

A start has been made fitting chrome wheel trims to buses at Belle Isle. So far noted as being fitted are Spectras 702 and 703 and also a couple of Olympus's

I kicked one lightly with my foot on a Dewsbury Dart & I'm pretty sure it sounded plastic.

Or you can send them away for professional treatment where hard chrome plating can be applied.
