I'm planning a trip to Huddersfield tommorow I will be catching the 202/203 then the 324.
Just wanted to know really if First accept Arriva day tickets I was on an Arriva bus yesterday and a man got on with a First ticket do First return the favour?

Nick, there is a West Yorkshire Bus Day ticket, it cost more than an Arriva Day ticket but I know it is valid on First and Arriva, it could be valid on other operators as well. I can't find on the Metro web site I don't think it's one of theirs.
I'm sure that must be the one which is valid on both you can buy it from the Driver on the day.
Hope that helps

Nick - its a Metro Day Rover - £5. Available either in advance from bus offices (a scratch off version) or on the bus, in which case you get a bus ticket that says day rover on it. All operators should accept them, although small operators often don't seem to know and you may have to argue the point that it is a valid ticket (HJC and Geldards fall into this category!) Arriva/First should be ok! Martin

I had trouble with this ticket on quite a few small operators but it's accepted by First, Arriva, Stagecoach and HBC without question
