All Volvo B10Bs have been withdrawn from Castleford with the exception of 414 which is covering for an accident damaged DAF 487. It is due back from repairs imminently, so 414 has at most a week left. So catch it while you can.

If 414 is covering for the damaged ALX300 do you know why 443 and 450 have found their way to Castleford.
The move was not reported so does anyone know why they are there?

I've not seen 414 for a couple of weeks now, does this mean Arriva Yorkhire are now Strider free, excluding the Training Buses that is.
Does this also mean that Castleford is the first Arriva Yorkshire depot to become 100% low floor easy access.

Strider 420 (M420 ANW) will be no more.
It looked like it had just arrived South of the Border on what looked to be it's last trip (End of Life Centre).

I thought Ensign or Staffs bus ctr. would've taken them on as they have some more ex-AY Striders still down there. They make ideal conversion into school buses as proven with Transdev.

This one (420) won't be seeing any further service and if I remember correctly was loaned out to Selby towards the end of it's days in service and if it had failed it could have been a source of spares for a while.

It had had a few parts removed and most of the windows put through. This I believe by West Yorkshire Police on a training exercise. Presumably by saying 'south of the border' you mean Carlton ?
