Been looking through my old photo's. 5065 had Bradford Explorer bus overall livery, 5066 had a livery to promote a major set of route changes on 26 October one year, it was called Buswise with Metro. Also before delivery to Bradford 5011 had Leyland Olympian demonstrator while it was touring the country.

6032 carried an allover advert for the Baron Hotel before it got it"s Bradford Traveller trial livery. The ex West Yorkshire Bus with the Jorvik advert was A683MWX no83 with York City and District and then 381 with Keighley and District. Rider York had another ECW Olympian painted but I cannot remember which

Does anyone remember an atlantean in Leeds with a wild looking overall advert, Brown background with gold or yellow flames or swirly shapes? Certianly stood out back in the early 80s.

Could it have been 6044 in the advert was for Phoenix Assurance Ltd? www.flickr.com/photos/34678488@N07/4061548197/Come to think of it from your description, perhaps not. But a nice overall ad all the same

Could well have been, I was a kid at the time and from memory it's about the nearest to what I think it looked like.

6032 was the Atlantean in The Baron Hotel overall livery. It was in different slades of blue getting lighter towards the back where is was white a bit like the White Rose Express livery reversed . When the advertising contract expired it was repainted in Bradford Traveller two tone blue without Red or White the only Atlantean in the 6001-6191 series to gain these colours. There also a rear end ad for the same hotel on one of the minibuses just before or after 6032 carried it"s overall. It was either on one of the Star Riders or one the ex W.Y.R.C.C. Ivecos

Now who remembers "3500 carefull owners"? Shortly after dereg some buses had lots of pictures of people plastered on the side, 5151 had it i think, an MCW and some others - possibly 5090 or 91. I think each of the 5 depots including Wakefield (5151) had one so the MCW would have been Leeds...
