You are forgetting that York has already received 20 new buses this year, so it isn't as if nothing has happened in York

I'd like to see Tempo's, Versa's, Citaro's or Scania Omni-thingys rather than more Wright/Volvo's.

In the 80s and 90s you could say the same about the Atlanteans and Roe Olympians, particularly in Bradford

Bradford had some Northern Counties and all of the Alexander Olympians as well as the Roe bodied Olympians and Altanteans. In 1990 it more interesting as the ex WYRCC buses ECW VRTs and Olympians,Leopards and Iveco minibuses were put to work on YR routes and YR buses went on to the ex WRYCC ones. I think is can be boring and frustrating for bus fans when the same type of bus is used all the time on certain routes that they used. For me the most boring day bus wise is Sunday when most operators only used their newer buses and more single deckers are used on what are mainly Double Decks routes

Agreed it is boring but it works. First have set up a quality partnership with Volvo & Wrightbus and have obviously got some discount along the way for their leases which is why it isn't likely to change in the near future!

Yes, all of the Volvo Olympians (30737/8/9, 34045/7/8 and the Withdrawn Royale's) are going to be re-entering service either in September or before.

They probably stored due to schools summer holidays when there are too many buses to cover the amount of work this time of year. In Bradford the oldest double deckers have been stored in the summer over the past 5 years again due to the school summer holidays

That's normal, I see them on the 576 all the time with me living on that route and I think they have all got the FirstCard advert somewhere or another, same with the B10BLE's that have been transferred from Bradford.

It's only at Bradford because of the Save the Children advertisement if that wasn't on it would have been in Halifax by now.
