Caught a glimpse of plain white single decker 65800 going from Kirkstall Road onto the Headrow. Anyone know what this is?

All previous posts indicated that 65800 would only be in Bradford for around three months. With all the recent transfers, I thought it had gone last week, but saw it again yesterday on it's normal 607 run. It is therefore now in it's fifth month in Bradford.
It appears therefore that the evaluation may have been extended and seems likely that the oldest B10BLE/Renowns which are branded for the blue line may be replaced soon. This especially so as newer Bradford Renowns are already being transferred to Halifax/Huddersfield.
Has anyone heard how the tests have gone, whether Scania's are likely to be ordered/transferred in from other First operators, and when replacements may arrive?

don't remember ANY previous posts about 65800, well not since it came to BRADFORD. I live on the 607 route and like travelling on this, and I was ing to ask for details, seems to only be on blue line daytime but every day, Br mentioned above it's got a temp look with not even first type hard seats and internal advert for first LEEDS changes from feb?

6 Months each = Scania trying to push through a deal with giving them the bus for that long. Fair play to them though and i hope it comes off!

Lets hope so. A bit of variety would be nice, particularly some Tempo's, cos as well as being damn good looking buses, they would fit with First policy of standardisation of types for maintenance purposes cos they are essentially big Solo's

Additionally having almost reach the stage where First have a standardised product with all the savings this will bring again they would just give it all up. I would expect First are just keeping Volvo and Wright on their toes and their pencil sharp in any future bids. Yes First might acquire a few "others" and test them to find any positives they can go back to Volvo and Wright with. Massive shift, unlikely.
