Connexions must have some vehicles out today with the same ids in the ticket machines. Looking at the RYGO display shows vehicles jumping from a 64 to an X1 and back again a few minutes later! Also with a 64 to an X70.

Connexions vehicles no longer show up on bustimes.org. Still on RYGO. The boss is away at the moment - can anyone else fix it?

Connexions mentioned this with a photo in their tweet on June 29th. I believe that is a fake twitter account? It must be looking at what they’ve been retweeting.

I have seen references to a fake FaceBook account, not twitter. In any case the tweet of 29/June matches the post by SCH117X. The twitter name is connexionsbuses.

Obviously they are oblivious to the law of passing off unfair competition by misrepresentation - from any frontal view most passengers would take it be a Transdev bus.

Please tell me you're joking right? It happened with the West Yorkshire liveried Omnicity - I had to point out to other waiting passengers wanting a Transdev bus that it was not, "but its red" was the response; these are even more like a Transdev bus head on. Obviously if their is confusion it largely will be Connexions timekeeping that will suffer further as the driver refuses Transdev tickets and intending passenger get off; the one problem that could occur is someone buying a Day ticket intending then to catch the 36.

Would it be reasonable for a passenger in Harrogate waiting for a bus to see a red bus and think it might be a TfL bus? Would it be reasonable for a passenger in Harrogate waiting for a bus to see a red bus and think it might be a Transdev bus?

Bus company buys a red bus & gets called silly & accused of breaking the law If they were using them as acquired that would be different but they have made a conscious decision to paint out the blue only www.flickr.com/photos/128497080@N03/40139417822/. That as acquired livery would have suited their "union jack" logo and an application of green and cream paint to the front instead to look like a Connexions bus that is in fleet livery almost certainly would have cost less.

"They made a conscious decision to paint out the blue" - i assume it was conscious decision to include the company's green in the livery?

Please tell me you're joking right? In Nottingham Yourbus painted the front of the buses that operated the route to Beeston orange, the colour that NCT used for the route branding on the corridor that Yourbus were competing with. NCT did complain to the appropriate authorities and Yourbus were told to remove the Orange fronts. Whether this would apply in this case, as a partially repainted single bus against a complete and deliberate route branding across all the buses operating on a route, would remain to be seen.

I don't understand why they can't be original and come up with a decent brand with good marketing to attract custom rather than doing something just to wind up Transdev (which is the case, has been seen on certain Facebook posts).

I'm struggling to find a post designed to wind Transdev up?
Genuinely think that people are over sensitive with Connexions. Things have been done incorrectly in the past but cmon, give the guys a chance.

Has anyone actually bothered to stop and think they maybe incorporating the "as delivered" liveries to what they are envisaging for the routes
