N803 TPK (503) came back to Hecky today behind the big america red tow truck with Yorkshire buses XXX on its destination bord, but it did have the red stripe round it wich means disposed of and later they were steam cleaning the engine and twideling with it. I dont know if its sold or they are useing it as a back up spare or the last arrow and lance to run togother for a bit.

The helms livery reminds me of the Traditional Yorkshire buses livery, the Lances originally recieve.

What ever happened to the NC Leyland Olympians South Yorkshire had, now they were rare machines. Some had old style BMAC lights which are fitted on VRT's and Atlanteans.

The nearest company as far as I'm aware to have a Lance is Just Travel who have 806.

Ex Arriva Lances 812 L812 NNW and 817 L817 NWY have found their way to PVS at Barnsley in an all red livery of a small Cardiff operator either EVS or EWS

I know both 597 and 612 are preserved but any others preserved It's 577 and 612 which are preserved, I didn't know about 597! 597 was Scrapped back in April 2005 Ex South yorkshire 103 A103OUG is preserved in Scotland ex West Riding 544 is also preserved And as you stated 577 and 612 are also preserved too Penfold
