The 0843 to Hudderfield is constantly changing platforms and its annoying me now i only get the train on a wednesday and dont know if its everyday or not.
Normally its on 17B which comes from Sheffield (i think) and normally has a pacer and a class155 (can someone confirm due to my lack of knowledge of trains) the class155 goes to Sheffield as the 0837 and obviously we get the pacer to Huddersfield.
Although today there was a pacer on the Sheffield from 17A & B with 3 cars and we was shipped over to 11A and it came on the boards @ 0833. I got to the platform to find no train there. Eventually one turned up empty from presumably Neville Hill @ 08.45 and we didn't leave the station 'til 08.51 making me late for college GRRR!

Sheffield crews don't sign 155's so I assume its a class 158 or 150. Does it have a set of doors at either end of each carriage or at 1 set one third down the carriage and a second set of doors two thirds down the carriage?
The platform constantly changing will be due to signalling and pathing of trains, which Network Rail does and not Northern. If your train was late or didn't turn up it will probably have failed which would also explain them bringing a unit in off Neville Hill.

The sheffield train was a 158. I had a 150 on the same route on Wednesday, never been on one but was inpressed compared to the pacers that im used to.
