I noticed an "Intercity 125" crawling its way through Leeds train station, at 4.30 yesterday evening the carriages in East Midlands Trains livery. Where was it going?

East Midlans Trains do operate trains to Leeds from London St Pancras, they tend to go Southbound first thing on a morning and come back late on in an evening. They have a train care facility at Neville Hill as well.
Further to this, Cross Country Trains are now operating 125s through Leeds to increase capacity.

My understanding is that there are currently no spare HST powercars, with ex-measurement train 43089 having recently passed to East Midlands Trains. I could be completely wrong though!
