Don't know if anyone else saw this, but in Leeds on Thursday, there were a couple of people in hi-viz vests on the 508 and X6 heading out of Leeds bus station asking people to feel in a survey.
Anyone know what this about?

This would have been the Leeds Bus Survey.
Leeds City Council & Metro are looking at ways of improving public transport in Leeds and these people in 'high viz' were handing out a questionnaire for passengers to complete on the bus. There were about 15 questions to answer such as 'Where have you just come from' and 'Was a car available for this journey' etc...etc.
The survey took place on a number of services, 2, 12, 49 amongst those I witnessed myself.

Ah right, did wonder whether it might have been about something like that. I know people on here have mentioned about Leeds wanting to introduce a congestion scheme like Manchester want to do and thought that the survey might have something to do with that.

Oh the joys of surveys.
I am currently working for a specialist public transport consultancy based in Preston for my work placement year as part of the course I am on at uni. We are often contracted to undertake surveys and questionnaires about all sorts of transport related subjects. A similar company could have been behind this particular one working with the council and Metro.

How did you guess? :-) Easy I know. Yep am on the Transport and Logistics Management course at Huddersfield Uni and currently working for The TAS Partnership for my work placement year.
We have just sent out 3,200 questionnaires to Northern Ireland for the new 60+smart pass concessionary fares bus pass that’s being introduced. Que lots of Irish people calling me asking what they have to do even though it tells them on the form.
