There's been a lot of talk lately about Heckmondwike and Dewsbury's services and how they interwork?
Can we try to provide a comprehensive list of which services interwork with what, and how it differs on Monday to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

I think one of the problems in compiling a list is that, rather than a simple "service x interworks with service y", in some cases there are particular journies which run into other services, differing during the day (i.e. peak times, school diversions). For example, the previously mentioned 229? evening peak run by Dewsbury, or the 212 being operated by different depots at different times of day etc etc.

The main off peak daytime interworking would be sufficient
I think all Arriva Yorks West corridors no longer interwork at Leeds so it's just at the other end of the journeys

The only standard daytime interworking I can think of...
Do the 128 and 205 still interwork at Dewsbury (it seems very likely)?
As far as I know the 212 and 213 interwork at Dewsbury.
Do the 221 and 227 interwork at Heckmondwike? (If not there would be a lot of dead time on these routes).
Based on comments made on this forum, Monday to Friday the 220 and 254 short workings interwork at Cleckheaton, while the 256 and other 254 short working also interwork at Cleckheaton. However on Saturdays it looks like all 3 routes (220, 254, 256) interwork.

212 and 213 interwork at Dewsbury, as do the 128/205 and I have seen the 221 arrive in Heckmondwike and change to 227. The 227 which I saw arrive hadn't had the blind changed when my bus moved off.

Thanks, well that confirms the ones that I wasn't 100% sure on, so as far as I know my above list is the whole "standard daytime" interworking list then. So all in all there isn't that much interworking.

Forgot to add the 253/278 interworking at Wakefield.
Also possibly of interest, on Sundays it appears the 253 and 283 interwork at Bradford.

Wouldnt that be the case through out the day.
278 changes into the 253 at Wakefiled, then the 253 changes into the 283 at Bradford.

The 253 doesn't interwork at Bradford Mon to Sat as far as I know.

On a related thread I commented that the 212 on a Sunday from Dewsbury garage had the same bus trundling back and forth. Now I'm not so sure as last Sunday the 10:00 was operated by Dart 199, the 18:00 by 192 and the 22:00 by one of the VDL SB200/Wright Commanders usually found on the 126/127 service.
Also on Sunday I saw 1414 arrive in Dewsbury at 18:00 on the 126 and then the blind was changed to 262 to form the 18:25 from Dewsbury, albeit with a quick break at the garage.
