Why did first huddersfield get these buses for??? they are broken down and sound really dangerous!! G527RDS does anyways..was on it today on the 343 and had alarms going off on it and just sounded like it was going to break down at any time.. and how many of these buses have first huddersfield got? there seems to be more than 6!! and one more thing are they engines at the front??? and grannys always complaining about there smell,low roof and 3 step entrance !!!

The Huddersfield depot got these buses for school work and for use on the none low floor operated routes around the towns.
The engines are not at the front, they are mid engined hence why the lower deck is so high up.

Sorry, slightly off topic but... brings back memories of Black Prince's long serving C101CUL with its high floor and very loud engine. Still nothing for me has ever beaten their V3 Ailsa for deafening engine sounds!

They got them for school work but seem to increasingly be used more and more on normal service work, including quite high profile routes such as the 328 and the Holmfirth Connection
It's a pitty some similar age Leyland Olympians were not available or possibly, if they are using them on normal services, they should have kept more Plaxton Verdes
There's 11 in use by the way

I'ts actually very rare to see these nice buses on 328 normally all thats on 328 is old eclipses and darts

328s have been frequent on there in the past week, come to think of it, they Citybuses are frequent visitors to the 323, and even an appearance on the late evening 321 is a regular.
