As the new Volvo B7RLEs are entering service on the 254/255. It will therefore mean the end to those "lovely" Dennis Lances that are based at Heckmondwike.
Personally myself, I won't miss them due to the poor ride quality, their uncomfortable interiors and the general state they have detiorated into with the assistance from Arriva.

For me, It will be a shame to see them go, although I much prefer the Volvo B10B Striders. Hopefully the Volvos will be around a bit longer yet.

I like the Lance but prefer it with Plaxton bodywork.
The B10B's are good but Arriva's are sheds.

Yeah, i'll miss them, but i did hate the seats though, they're rock hard like a classroom chair in high school. The new B7RLES look nice with the 254/255 branding, I haven't been on one yet but i hope the ride quality is good.

As stated in the New Buses for Heckmondwike thread, there are only eight remaining Lances in service. How long will these be hanging around for and what will replace them?

Probably a further service review meaning less busses required!
