Erm, if you took it yourself wouldn't you already know where it was taken?
Also, does anyone know if the foden survives? I'd love to know if it's at a museum and especially if it's in working order and rideable.

Erm, if you took it yourself wouldn't you already know where it was taken? Like the poster of this photograph I have taken thousands over the years. I for one do not take notes when I photograph buses, trusting to memory. Sadly the memory sometimes lets me down as well. Then you get people asking things like what day of the week was it taken and expect you to remember from 20+ years ago. You should not assume that the poster did not take the photo just because he can not remember when or where it was taken. Some people would be extremeley offended by the implication of the above statement.

I never assumed or accused anyone of anything. I was merely puzzled that the person who took the photo couldn't remember where it was taken.
Anybody offended by my 'assumption' has read something into it that isn't there.
If members are not allowed to ask an honest question without being accused of something, then this site is in trouble.
There is no implication at all in the statement, and if anyone thinks there is, tough.

If it was in Huddersfield it would have been at a rally in Greenhead Park. As far as I am aware the vehicle still exsists over on the Wirral and is in the ownership of Helms of Eastham aka Aintree Coachlines. It was seen at a rally in Birkenhead a couple or so years ago in their livery. I am lead to understand that the own two FodenNC's and the test chassis, which they bought for spares.

The Greenhead Park rally started at WA's depot, Gelderd Rd until WA were kicked out when Reg Vardy bought Trust Motors. Don't know where it went to after that.
