I have just realised that Wilberlee, a small settlement about a mile up on the hills above Slaithwaite enjoys a very frequent evening bus service which would be the envy of many a larger place! The 396 (Team Pennine) leaves Huddersfield at 2030 on Mon-Sat evenings bound for Wilberlee, just 5 minutes after at 2035 the NEW 382 (First) follows to reach the same destination! Wilberlee is an attractive hamlet with a school and a few houses - but I would imagine there would be few, if any passengers in the mid-evening. In Northowram where I live, there must be a population of 5K + and we have just 2 buses per hour in the evening to Halifax with a very uneven schedule.

Ambler Thorn and Catherine Slack have 4 buses an hour by cunningly being on the main road between Halifax and Queensbury. Similarly Scarlet Heights, beyond Queensbury.

Maybe not in terms of frequency but Holme! A full usable timetable (5am to 11pm) which most urban routes don't even have...

If you live up by Baitings Reservoir or Blackstone Edge Reservoir, you have 2 buses an hour compared to the nearby village of Rishworth which has about 2K people not even having one bus per hour. Crimsworth Turning Circle, above Hebden Bridge, also has a good frequency considering it's in the middle of the moors with a service twice an hour on 595, then 2 B3s an hour (1 in each direction) and regular 594s in the evening.

Maybe Swillington Common? 9, 9A, 19, 19A, 21 or 22, 163, 164 and 165 all pass through.
